Most groups of KDE in telegram are using @kdemtgbot, which is very cool: bold nicknames, supports both ways editing, etc.
But KDE Development @kdedevel group is 'stuck' with much simpler IRC bridge. And it's not pretty. How about changing the bot there?
(Bots nicknames are from Telegram, obviously)
We are still waiting on the group's telegram admins giving us access so we can create the bridge
@kdetgadmin needs to be invited and made an admin with the power to make admins on the telegram side
if you can help get that done we can get things switched over
Not sure, but if you can find out and get them to do that for @kdetgadmin I can then work on getting the matrix tg bridge setup and switched over for the room
Jan is the owner, but I also have admin access now (I think I had lost it, then Jan re-granted it to me after a spam incident). I have just promoted kdetgadmin to admin.
