Reenable kio-extras on KDE CI for FreeBSD
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Two years ago https://invent.kde.org/sysadmin/ci-tooling/-/commit/129a6004a8020d1267bb59125be25d99cc02bc5c blacklisted kio-extras to build on KDE CI, with the reasoning in the commit message:

"It effectively requires newer WebEngine, and due to getting dragged in as a Dependency of way too many things is preventing us getting CI for FreeBSD back up and running"

Any chance this does no longer hold? After all other builds, e.g. of KDevelop, get webengine 5.15.2 these days also with FreeBSD.

So Tobias, can you tell whether it's time to readd?

Based on what we can see in the logs of other projects that use webengine it should be safe to revert that so i've now done so.

Yes, thanks to Kai Knoblich we were able to update to a more recent webengine quite some time ago -- so should be all good :)
