Hi Lays,

excellent work you are doing on Atelier, and good luck with your upcoming release.

I'm commenting here because the introduction of Google Analytics for a kde.org website worries me a bit in terms of privacy [1]. Reading our mission statement [2], I get the impression that this is not something we should be imposing on our users. Using this third-party service is not included in the privacy policy [3] too, which might lead to legal trouble.

As I've seen your name on the "Privacy Software" goal [4], I was even more surprised about this commit. Surely not only our software should respect privacy, but also our websites to begin with? There have been efforts before to migrate to more privacy friendly solutions [5], and I'm sure our sysadmins will find a way to integrate Atelier's website with our Piwik instance [6] so you'd still get numbers on downloads.

I'd be glad if you would be open to changing this again.

Thanks, Henrik

P.S.
Ideally, there would be no connections to other websites at all, i.e. currently I also see requests to fonts.googleapis.com and rawgit.com.
