What I'm actually wondering about is whether this issue still exists in the Frameworks branch... Unfortunately, I haven't got a test system with the broken driver version anymore!

Well, if there's no way to test it, this message could be tagged for removal after some timeframe, like a year.

Once we've got a frameworks build that people can download, I'll do a bit of publicity, asking for testers.
