Update august 2018: this is now fixed
Description
One thing I noticed in a recent git master build (I may need to install a fresh copy for confirmation), but one of the packages for DVD authoring - I think - wasn't installed after installing Kdenlive from Ubuntu Software. Kdenlive gave me that error in the beginning saying that this package wasn't installed, and that I can't burn/edit/author DVD's.
I have a few ideas to try and remedy this so the wizard won't even need to come up to alert users that a feature isn't available... but it's way too late. I shouldn't even be writing now for fear of what mysterious horrors might be revealed.
More tomorrow.
Currently, not installing some packages forces the wizard to come up saying these packages aren't installed, and that some features won't be available. This seems to be the only reason the wizard appears, currently (correct me if I'm wrong).
What if the behavior was more like Totem: if there is a codec missing, a window pops up saying a new package is required to use this video/audio file, and prompts the user to install that package?
