Fixed default aspect ratio, no matter the resolution.

Some questions to help you:

4k, even in a 55" screen gives a very small font size

I zoom it to 300 to read it with almost the same aspect than 1080p

BUT it would be nice that the size of the fonts, would be the same (As 1080p now) independent from the resolution your device is using, or at least not use the maximum resolution, and 1080p or nearer by default when instaling.

How we know we succeeded

Change the wayland and xorg default setups and / or work with calamares and other installers to setup 1080p and not the maximum resoultion as default.

Or make the 4k default zoom x3 (x300%)

Hi @mmayol,

Unfortunately this is not a goal in its current state. A goal should be something larger and aspirational that large parts of the KDE community can contribute to over the next 2 to 3 years. Do you see a way to adapt it?
If you can turn this into a goal please also use the template provided in T17356.

You also seem to mix up aspect ratio and scale

Hello @mmayol,

Thanks for your suggestion, as said, this seems to be a very specific issue. You could either file a bug report or join forces with another open task, how about this one: https://phabricator.kde.org/T17372
