Yes, I know..bug fixing is frickin boring...its much more fun to work on new shiny features.
But honestly.... if the users step over the same bugs for years, get annoyed by data loss, get broken fingers from workarounds, look into bugzilla and find the issue was already reports years back...and still not fixed...thats a perfect way to promote other DE. OK, they have their flaws as well.
So why do I say this? I use KDE since 1.0. There were hard times in between (KDE 4, anyone?), and things got better massively. Nevertheless, bugzilla is full of really nasty stuff, that affects users in their daily work, makes their life hard.
So PLEASE....No shiny features...consolidate, fix, make KDE rock solid. I still think its a good DE. Now make i the best one.
