I'm interested in the rust story when it comes to KDE. It'd be nice if this proposal were split up so that those who understand the swift story can discuss and vice versa.

It might be best to merge this as a subgoal into https://phabricator.kde.org/T17396 which is all about easier App creation and already has "Enable support for other languages" listed as one aspect.

This goal is too short, and I agree with Sephatrix that combining it with the other goal would fit better. Plus, this has almost no benefits for our users.

Hi @soloturn, @ryanabx and @mystchonky with only 7 days left to polish the proposals, Would you consider joining forces with the Enkouraging Kommunity Apps task since no one has stepped up to champion this one?
