Added options such as removing the "this is not a benchmark" message, removing the frametime graph, automatically recoloring the text according to the fps value, and forcing the position to be on the primary screen. All the options can be toggled in the systemsettings panel.

Open the systemsettings, go to desktop-effects, enable the show-fps effect and toggle the various new additions (all booleans).
