It looks like the KIconProvider image provider is entirely unused and could be removed/deprecated in favor of Kirigami.Icon, right? That would help as this is using some about to be deprecated KIconThemes API.

AFAIK it's unused.

Given we need the icon to support colorscopes I can't see us ever using it.
