Right now, there's two issues that make animation export confusing:
# The difference between 'Export Animation' and 'Export'->mpg/ogg/mkv/gif/csv
# There's no explanations yet for the manual about which file formats are useful for what :)
For the first, I'll let @dkazakov and @jounip decide what they want to do. For the other, I would like to have some general comments about which to use where:
* gif - Makes a single animated gif, optimised for quality. Perfect for small looping animations without transparent background, and a small color palette.
* (Matroshka) mkv - Good for high quality videos that aren't expected to be watched through a browser, uses the H.264 codec (?)
* (Mpeg-4) mpg - Better format for videos that are to be exported to the web and watched on mobile devices, uses the H.264 codec (?)
* Ogg - Better format for videos that are to be exported to the web, uses the Theora codec, which is open and free. (?)
* Csv - This is a format for interchange between Krita, Blender and TVpaint.
