## UX Improvements
- [ ] Add "replace existing file?" confirmation dialog instead of overwriting by default
- [ ] Have proper progress reporting, and show transfer progress somewhere
- do we want a tab for this?
- [ ] Make it clear where to find the files https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-ios/-/wikis/Random-Notes#share
- a lot of confusion about this, and we are getting 1 star reviews
- this could also go in that tab
- [ ] Change images and videos to save to photos library by default
- [ ] Make it clear where to find the files https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-ios/-/wikis/Random-Notes#share, so we can get less 1 star review - [ ] Toggle option for allowing to be saved to the Documents folder just like other normal files
- [ ] Allow changing the folder... is this possible?Change the default folder to "Downloads" instead of "Documents" on Macs with Apple silicon
- [ ] Change the folder to "Downloads" instead of "Documents" on Macs with Apple siliconmake sure to implement overwrite confirmation first, since this will be out of sandbox (last time I checked it alias `~/Downloads`
- [ ] Allow user to specify the folder to save to, on Mac and on iOS... is this possible?
## Correctness
- [ ] Support using a range of ports instead of just a single port
- [ ] Have proper progress reporting, and show transfer progress somewhereAddress crashes reported from TestFlight https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-ios/-/wikis/TestFlight/Crashes#share
- [ ] Stream files instead of loading an entire file into memory and crashing the app https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconnect-ios/-/wikis/TestFlight/Crashes#share
- [ ] Refactor file transfer logic out from share plugin so it can be re-used by Clipboard plugin to sync images/files
- [ ] Double check the protocol (handy **[unofficial reference](https://www.andyholmes.ca/valent/documentation/protocol.html#share-plugin)**), sometimes the app crashes because we don't have the information expected
## Refactor?
We get feature requests to sync not just plain text in clipboard, but also images/files. We should be able to reuse most of the share plugin's code except changing the final destination - Files app, Photos Library, or now, UI/NSPasteboard.
