Kenny C is at a family function tonight and he will update the meet.ko link tomorrow
How are we doing with this for Thursday?
Fireside room: https://meet.kde.org/b/all-whh-oty
Update: Matthias' fireside chat was moved to the 25th at 17 UTC.
Link to register on indico: https://conf.kde.org/e/KDE25th
From today's call:
I've fixed this and uploaded a new version (note the _ at the end of the url to ensure CDNs are delivering the correct version):
I've added some details of this sprint to: https://community.kde.org/Sprints/Meet/2021Virtual
I've created a poll to help us decide on the date https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/AkademyToolsSprint21/
From an attendee PoV:
How about either the weekend of March 20th, or March 27th 2021?
A date from 18th Feb onwards would suit me best, we want to be post FOSDEM anyway
Did you like the format? Anything we can improve upon?
Did you like the format? Anything we can improve upon?
What software and hardware you used to join meeting? (Browser, Camera, and Microphone)
Did you have any problems with software used? (BigBlueButton and Greenlight)
Sometimes the camera feeds were frozen and I could only unfreeze them by reloading the page
What can be improved in software?
I think it should be possible to see notes and chat at the same time
Was the echo test faster after the first day, also if any one was still having problems with it?
For me it was sometimes faster, sometimes slower without a pattern that I could spot
Our first day was a write-off. The rest worked well.
Currently SIP setup is working for calling the number and entering PIN makes you join the room (note: must be someone in room already with working mic). Pin shown in room motd
Note that they "disappear" from the room, I haven't confirmed whether the actual pads used disappear or not yet
