Updated the test to be slightly better. Use QVERIFY(...) instead of QCOMPARE(..., true) in one case, and make sure that saveEnabled() is false after calling setSaveEnabled(false).

Alright, so I learned how to use WikiDB. It is very easy to use, and very powerful.
The source code--it isn't hosted in a git repository, but you you have to download a zip, so it wouldn't work with our submodule workflow unless we make a repository ourselves.

Does this make sense to be a OCG task? I think it would be more useful to be a bot, so the errors can be caught easier.
That is a good idea. It shouldn't be necessary, and if it is being rewritten soon, then it can be done there. It is mostly just a semantics issue, not so much a functionality one.

Another idea is creating a new element that just adds a number/ID to its contents. This would be more extensible than just for equations.

Alright, I have an update. I updated the extension to have the more modern interface for extensions, instead of the singular php file.
