Actually, I'm working on it now and it's almost done, so don't worry about it.
Great, I just tested it now and appears to work fairly well. The only issue I noticed now is that the exclusion pattern remains as overlay even when I uncheck "Full Field". It should be disabled by then.
Anyone else has comments/issues with this PR?

Thanks, but we cannot add any more options to the capture module UI. It has to be added to opsekos.ui under the "Capture" tab. How does this work with D18235? Maybe it should be merged in there as well?

Thanks I just tested this in my observatory. The flip was started, but it got stuck on post-flip alignment. The alignment actually finished OK, but it seems no signal was sent to capture module regarding this. Please check.

Right, maybe if an imaging sequence is started, it should override whatever value in the mount module AND disable the edit in the mount module entirely as long as the sequence is active. This would prevent uses from changing it in mount by mistake while imaging is still active.
Thanks, it was applied cleanly now. I had a brief window to test but then clouds rolled in :(
mount.cpp and mount.ui still fail to patch :(

Can you please rebase again? I can't apply the patch now to test.

Ok looks like it's clear tonight, so I'm ready to test it. Do you think you can add the non-tracking case as well today?

I also don't think meridian flip should be done when the mount is NOT tracking.

Yes, I've seen this reported before in KDE bug tracking. There is an issue with time calculations in both that I haven't been able to pin down. I think Eric found issues with 0.5 days are added under some circumstances but might lead to this.
Does this also check if the mount is parked? Because now I'm getting meridian flip attempts with the mount parked! I didn't apply the above patch yet, but under the live system it behaves this way.

Robert, absolutely. main.cpp credits is more up to date. The documentation credits are pretty old. Please send in a PR (or whatever phabricator calls it) to add these details along with Eric as well and anyone else that needs to be added here, thanks!

Great work as always! I will definitely give this a through test as long as the weather clear.

Thanks for the notes. Can you submit a fix to these issues given the issues I raised before?

A solution was merged already.
Just found today that this doesn't cover the case where Slew is initiated from from the sky map or elsewhere outside Mount
