@zzag Hi, I'm not really sure if you're asking for more details about how IMEs work in general or about how IMEs work specifically in a KDE (i.e. Qt widgets et al.) context from a technical point of view. For the time being I can't really help with the latter, but I guess it won't do any harm to try and provide some more info on the former.
