You need more and more concrete goals. We cannot justify paying for 4 people to attend an event just to vaguely recruit contributors and testers.

And, for a good measure, here is the template we use to write a event tasks and we use it to make sure we don't forget anything
Good start, thanks for helping organise this @aakarshmj !

My impression so far was that the idea of Marknote was to remain simpler than e.g. Klevernote. (Not that I would disagree with that direction, I'm not the biggest fan of simple apps, but this probably should be an explicit decision).

Found an article (https://www.aukfood.fr/automatiser-le-deploiement-et-la-configuration-de-kde-avec-ansible/) that may be interesting on how to masse deploy KDE stuff using Ansible. Adding it to the task description.

Off the top of my head, features that would make MarkNotes/KleverNotes a killer note-taking app:
Stickers have been ordered. They will be sent to @druonysus

I got really excited by this! I know I was tagged for MarkNote specifically but I would also like to be involved in work like this where possible! Large scale deployments of any FOSS and working with stakeholders to accelerate and promote the deployment of KDE on this scale.

Adding @vkrause , @redstrate, and @justinzobel to see if they can advise us on how we can get MarkNote up to the requirements

regarding the OneNote alternative, MarkNote exists. If you configure it to save notes to a synced Nextcloud directory on your disk, you have cloud synchronization of sorts.

Well done everyone!
Yes, we can. If we can find someone who can deliver and pick up the screen from the venue.

Right! Sorry. Carry on.
Wait, before closing.... How much di we make with donations?

Do we have some community members who we could ping for some quick translation and then post on the appropriate socials?

I realise that a lot of the links to entities I am posting are in the US, but let us keep our eyes open for other markets. Bollywood, for example. The problem I have is the language barrier, but if we could get someone on the project who knew about that market, it would be great. I am sure places like Brazil have their own "Hollywood". Let's hear about that too.

How can we avoid this 👆, I wonder?
I feel like that with most of these we're going to get yet again 14-year olds sending in their angry-pidgeons speedruns (or whatever the f kids play these days) or people submitting videos of their frigging cats 😬. Let's up the ante, eh? And we don't only need the footage, we need over-the-shoulder footage of them editing, with Kdenlive clearly visible. This image

Looking at some of the current material on the Kdenlive website, it's really heavy on details (although slightly out of date with current release), but not so much on showing what people have done with the software.

Sorry! I just realised this existed. it does make sense to me. I have root privileges and access to the server. Changing the name may not be possible, but most of the other stuff will. Shall we start with that? I can make you an account, @aronkvh and boost your privileges to admin so you can take an active role.

@ngraham you have a contact in Lenovo. Let's not share their details here, as this is public, but would you mind pinging them and finding out how they feel about this?
To kick start the branding design thing, I drafted some very basic images here: https://collaborate.kde.org/s/mA3iYtNw9GkgHET
