I think we should have this be in text. An article of testimonials … videos have not been easy to obtain

I have very very very ealry draft for a page I'd like to see/someone not familiar with KDE.
( this is with absolute disregard to consistency with other pages; which I don't think is a big problem for a custom/event page, and these of c. these are just some very early ideas)
Looking for an update here and apologies for moving it to "Done" was trying to move it to "Doing"

Are there any updates here?
Sprint happening Sept. 11-12; will have updates afterwards
Have we heard from Skylar (not sure about the name; same person who compiled the Akademy 2020 welcome video) about compiling the videos together? We should start this soon so we have 1+ month to get it done.

Do you focus on popular KDE contributors, or may I also upload my personal greetings?
Also I use KDEnlive quite often for experimental editing and recommend it at every occasion, I could produce a video cut proposal as soon as footage is available if you like. My video quality limit is 1080p for computational reasons. One additional idea I have is to compose a happy birthday background track consisting of old and new KDE sounds, I could give it a try at least.
I also wouldn't mind to step up as a fanboy and reach out to Mr. Torvalds, NASA and CERN (because yet nobody did right?) but I am afraid I will just reach their spam filter...
Best wishes

The birthday might be a good opportunity to dig up some of the stories about what happened in KDE over time and maybe resurface some of the contributors who shaped KDE in the past but aren't active today anymore.

I still have no word from ASU. I got an initial response and had a meeting scheduled to talk but between COVID and now protests it was postponed and yet to be rescheduled.

As you can see in the current version, you can submit the answer even if you rank only 1 item, so we can be as flexible here as we want.

Should all the question be visible at once? Might be good to divide into pages, if the ranked question grows to large with proper selections.

We can increase diversity by making one or both of the key note speakers female. This can encourage more female attendance from the KDE Community.
