Thanks Stefan for getting this done

the akademy.ko theme can probably just be merged into helio's original task and the subtask relating to modified neverland that i added

Did you see i had made a start on creating a separate Akademy Tools project to separate out the non private Akademy Team stuff? Didn't further than that yet, I imagined splitting in to sub projects like web etc...

The current Neverland theme was modified to support the years based menu system
It seems like adding bof scheduling by anyone as a feature to upstream FRAB would make the most sense for the Akademy workflow and ensure maintainability

I told you it needed changing, but only after we get new moderators

That looks great thanks, its been a big help having you do that

So as not to have this drag on too long, I suggest we go with the original plan, leave a generic email for contacts, an email that points to the PR mailing list, for the time being. Meanwhile, we can continue developing our plan to drum interest for KDE in the media and when it makes sense or we have the resources, we can provide personalised contacts per geographical region.

Anyone able to help us with the layout for the back of the badges showing the akademy schedule? Technical requirements in the task Description

Normally by this point we have lots of blog posts talking about what will happen at Akademy, there has been almost nothing
Is this mainly covered by putting up the posters?
No one able to do this? You can probably just copy paste the table from the webpage into for instance libreoffice and then fiddle with the sizes till they fit. This is not a task I can do due to my RSI

As I explained at the sprint they all do already go to a mailing list and Ivana is subscribed to it as she ask to be added. If there are other suitable people who want added they can be as well

We've got things on offer at several different providers at the moment. CafePress isn't the cheapest, but they're probably the most reputable and dependable on-demand merchandise provider available. And having it all under one umbrella would ensure that any proceeds do find their way into the KDE e.V. coffers.

Great, sounds like you had already got this mostly sorted
I'd also assume that the specs of the printer to be used would need to be reflected in the design rules?
@laysrodrigues based on your recent email to the Akademy Team this is all based on the assumption that you would be able to borrow a printer to do this on? Sounds like confirming the availability of a printer might be worth doing before starting this?

I thought that was semi-deprecated? If it's not, IMHO, it should be. We don't want messaging to be too diluted. Is there any chance we could move over everything there to either dot.kde.org or planet.kde.org?
Based on what I know about planet.kde.org and the way it works, it shouldn't be too difficult to move stuff from blogs.kde.org. But that's a discussion for another time and place, probably.
For now, I'll just add Planet, and we'll see if others agree with it being up there.

In T7871#127372, @James wrote:Re: stickers: Why don't we attempt to work more closely with Unix Stickers for these types of Promo things? They do give money back to KDE-E.v. Not much (of course, stickers aren't THAT expensive), but a partnership may make sense whereby we could also perhaps sell some of their swag through our "Meta store" links section, and get some cash back via their affiliate program? Also perhaps we would get some type of discount for bulk-orders to update our stock.
Just throwing this out there as an option; I like supporting organizations that support Open Source, and KDE was the project of the month around a year ago: FULL REPORT FOR MARCH 2017
