I've fixed this and uploaded a new version (note the _ at the end of the url to ensure CDNs are delivering the correct version):

I've added some details of this sprint to: https://community.kde.org/Sprints/Meet/2021Virtual
Feb 22 2021
I've created a poll to help us decide on the date https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/AkademyToolsSprint21/
Feb 19 2021
From an attendee PoV:
- having automatic breakout rooms after each talk to text chat with the speaker was nice
- videos being cut off in the middle of sentences automatically was awkward
- integration of the video widget in the matrix client was a very nice idea but every time I wanted to read a message in another chat it meant losing the talk so I ended up not using the integrated talk widget
- it sometimes felt like I was missing parts of the chat conversations. Not sure if this was matrix dropping messages.
How about either the weekend of March 20th, or March 27th 2021?

A date from 18th Feb onwards would suit me best, we want to be post FOSDEM anyway

What software and hardware you used to join meeting? (Browser, Camera, and Microphone)
Did you have any problems with software used? (BigBlueButton and Greenlight)
Sometimes the camera feeds were frozen and I could only unfreeze them by reloading the page
What can be improved in software?
I think it should be possible to see notes and chat at the same time
Was the echo test faster after the first day, also if any one was still having problems with it?
For me it was sometimes faster, sometimes slower without a pattern that I could spot
Our first day was a write-off. The rest worked well.

Currently SIP setup is working for calling the number and entering PIN makes you join the room (note: must be someone in room already with working mic). Pin shown in room motd
May 17 2020
Note that they "disappear" from the room, I haven't confirmed whether the actual pads used disappear or not yet
May 16 2020
This is strange, I host my etherpad-lite instance and the note don't disappear. Anyway the etherpad-lite api is documented and it should be 'easy' to fetch the content with a script: https://etherpad.org/doc/v1.8.0-beta.1/#index_gettext_padid_rev. If someone wants to test I have an instance here: http://carlschwan.eu:9001/
etherpad-lite stores its data in redis so may be the reason the notes are ephemeral

100 is still the limit
Looks fine

@cahfofpai Not recording BoFs seems reasonable and what to record or not was being thought about for Akademy. Thanks for raising this

In case of a large audience, this way we can easily coordinate questions/interruptions. I also missed a "Low bandwidth mode" to overcome network issues. Both features are present in Jitsi.

I liked it. The audio quality was very different for the speakers, some were perfectly understandable, some barely. I think the planning/announcement was a bit rushed. Scheduled breaks would be a good thing

The format was good, but I would like to be more "strict", so that the participants to easily pick what they are most interested in and join in when they really want to. The trainings were professional, I wonder why in Plasma Mobile we did not offer them in the past - ok, better late than never :)

Are you thinking about something that we can later improve for our in-person events?
Did you like the format? Anything we can improve upon?
Edited and added some new fields for this year
I think it may be hard to keep track of questions in amongst all the other chat, especially earlier ones

Scalelite seems worth a look: Scalable load balancer for BigBlueButton
What internet connection speeds do you each have?
Apr 10 2020
https://www.bigbluemeeting.com/ platinum level ie. as much money as you can give them ($2500/m) for BBB hosting only supports 100 users per room

We will need to migrate the website to drupal 8 in 2021 when Drupal 7 is end of life (or before when the Drupal 7 plugins we depend aren't supported anymore).

- Admins create the event on events.kde.org
- Admins enable "Visa Invation requests" & upload a Visa invation letter template (can also happen later than when creating the event)
