We should discuss whether we want to have a KDE-related room at FOSDEM 2019, and if yes, plan how to organize it and decide who will run the sessions.

Resolved | skadinna | T9482 Running a KDE-related room |
Would need finding out who else runs the desktop team in the past (someone Gnomey at least) and working out how to put a proposal together which would get accepted. As discussed it might be best to just see if KDE people can fit in with other rooms for talks.
As Jonathan pointed out in the kde-promo channel, we will not have a room this time, so the task can be closed. In August we discussed KDE's presence at FOSDEM on that same channel, and generally agreed to shift our focus towards running the booth and getting people to submit talks to other rooms. Accepted rooms have been announced - https://fosdem.org/2019/news/2018-10-14-accepted-developer-rooms/ - so we can now start inviting people from the KDE community to apply in this task: https://phabricator.kde.org/T9481
