currently we use the kubuntu version. this needs at least a diff review and decision on whether we need to keep the fork. if we need it, it'll need merging AND a rebuild of EVERYTHING.

this is also explicitly blacklisted in the jobs_update_nci.rb program. once actioned the blacklist should be removed
