Is this still relevant? As far as I can tell album art and position is not supported with all MPRIS media players.

Position support has been implemented. Album art not yet.

Correct, but that doesn't mean we can't do it for those that implement it

It looks like album artwork has been implemented already just looking at the code. Am I wrong?

This task is not about the Android app but the linux app
