I open the statistic page for french translations:
(a) I open home page:

(b) I select statistics of translation (FR:Statistiques des traductions) in the side menu:

(c) I see language code: fr
(d) I select the second line: "Contribute" among the best already translated page (76% today):
The list of items remaining to translate appears:
I try to trasnlate some (Modify) and view remaining Not translated: the list is reduced => normal
I decide to click "Contribute" on the upper link to return to the original English page:
"Traduction de la page wiki [Contribute] depuis anglais (en)."
(e) https://techbase.kde.org/Contribute
(f) translation link is proposed and I chose to modify page Contribute/40/ :

(g) this reduces the statistics for this page : ok
I guess that both links leading to translation item set share the same base
(h) but I see the text on page (e) "This page is now on the community wiki."

I go there and I see that the translations no longer exist in any language.
Conclusion 1 :
To avoid translators loosing their time, the page cannot be with and without translation and we must decide what to do.
- either the page is not to be moved and step (e) must lead to the original english text
- or the page is to be moved without translation and it must not appear among the pages to be translated
- or the page is to be translated into the new environment and translation must be allowed for there
Conclusion 2 :
If the page is in the new environment, the link from the home page must be aligned to point directly there and not on the old base.
