The "unused" (on timeline) mouse wheel (vertical scroll) delta-value can be linked directly to the time timeline resolution slider.

it's a very easy change that can speed up creation of transitions
for example on Windows, when placing a "composite" on a title.. the mouse isnot able to "expand" the effect to the entire clip... is necessary to change the timeline "resolution" to grab the border of the "transition".. and after that restore the slider.
