package opencv3

Description

Needed by digikam, as far as I can see no packaging yet.

Found packaging on ubuntu, but it is gtk, reworking for qt. It is turning into a beast.

I 'think' Digikam master still build with Opencv 2.x if you toggle the option back to OFF in debian/rules?

If so, and that is the only thing that wants it, may be worth asking digikam devs if v 3 is really needed before Neon gets it anyway when switching to the 18.04 base?

I will give it a try for a day or two, after that, seems like a good move.

seems to be named 'opencv3' in neon but just 'opencv' in ubuntu?
needs javahelper added to pangea build docker images I think

named it before I found the newest ubuntu opencv was in fact v3. I can rename the repo/job if needed. How do I add javahelper to the docker images?

How do I add javahelper to the docker images?

somewhere in pangea-tooling. the job which creates the docker images has a list of packages to install and it needs added there

javahelper issue resolved. Working with Harald to debug a dual entry watch file issue.

That worked out, but patches can't seem to be applied to the second tar downloaded... something tells me dpkg-source doesn't do anything with it so it doesn't get unpacked.
