[Randa Fundraising] Promo Material for the Website

Description

We need to write the promo material to go to the campaign site. We have some photos to choose that we can use on the site too: https://www.flickr.com/photos/104544784@N04/sets/72157669703682576

Kevin already gave his allow to use this photos. We only need to ask the people if they are ok on using their image on the site too.
We have this site from last year that you can take a look and have an idea: https://www.kde.org/fundraisers/randameetings2016/

2017 is using the same layout and structure.

@laysrodrigues' summary:

  • What is the general road map for the e.V fundraising for Randa?
  • What goal should be achieved? What fundraising levels at which date? What are countermeasures if levels aren't reached like it what happened in 2016?
  • How will donation goodies be handled (Post cards that sadly weren't ordered by many)? Is there a solution to that problem, maybe with CiviCRM? (Heck I need a new mousepad, the old one with a picture of my parents shouldn't be used at all)
  • What is the current state of alternative funding platforms? Afaik there was a discussion about that, but I also might be wrong

We discussed and reflected the fundraising from 2016 during and after our Randa AGM and came to the conclusion that we aren't able/willing to provide the same energy like we did in the previous year. Last years was already really stressful for us (Emergency actions to improve the funding) and this year won't be better because several members are in the process of becoming father [again].

On the other hand we have a Fundraising WG with [new] members like Paul and Ivana. We would be really glad if the fundraising process would run without/a minimum of our interactions. There are also many awesome people like Nathan Lovato that surely would be willing to create videos/fundraising content.
