During my research of other map applications (will comment the blog post detailing it below) one of the key features that is needed is a way to organize and edit (as well as have a detailed create option) bookmarks. This can be expanded with having the bookmarks have a description and color associated with them (the latter option requiring a color picker dialog). This task is simply to add a menu option to add the current location to the Bookmarks set.
