Currenty Marble Maps is based directly on Qt (Qt Quick and Qt Quick Controls 2). Kirigami is KDE’s lightweight user interface framework for mobile and convergent applications and could potentially be a UI base as well. The goal of this task is to look into Kirigami and list its advantages as well as disadvantages if it was used as a base for Marble Maps: Would it be beneficial to switch to it?
