Add general system volume control to MPRIS controls using pulseaudio
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Probably as an option from a "System volume" option under the MPRIS activity 'three dots' menu.

We already have code to change the volume from kmix in the "pause music plugin".

hello,
may i suggest to have the main volume slider immediately visible instead of under the 3 dots. Let me explain:
I'd like to use the kdeconnect app to control my main volume when watching youtube. Using the mpris control, it does not change the volume. I assume this does not work as you created this todo task.
So in my case, I would need the main volume _always_. So please make it directly accessible.
Unless I don't understand you correclty :) If so, maybe it belongs in a different plugin?

cheers,
matthias

Why would we want that here? Would it make sense to directly have a PulseAudio plugin?
