Kdenlive: add 2 new categories

Description

I would like to add 2 new sub-categories for Kdenlive addons that will be xml files:

  • Kdenlive export profile
  • Kdenlive title template

I did not find any instructions / contact info on how to request these changes on the store.kde.org website.

Hi,
Do you have any idea whenever these new categories can be setup ? Ideally it would be great if these could be added for the KDE Applications 16.12 release (15th of december), but otherwise if you can give us an estimate of when this can be done, that would be helpful.

are those totally new categories or do we need to import them from former kde-files.org?

Hi,

No these are new categories. We were previously hosting them on a separate server that had to be shut down, and want to bring them live again, so there is nothing to import.

I see that the 2 new categories are online, thanks a lot. I still have one last question: we have an older category called "Kdenlive FX": https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/185/order/latest
Is it possible to move this previous Category in the same "Kdenlive" folder as the 2 new categories ? Also, I can access the 2 categories you added fom KNewStuff3 using :

ProvidersUrl=http://download.kde.org/ocs/providers.xml
and "Categories=Kdenlive Template" or "Categories=Kdenlive Profile"

But coulnd't find the correct category to pass to KNewStuff3 to access the old "Kdenlive FX" category... Any idea?

Note: I adjusted the Category names to more exactly match the asked ones, as when creating them, it wasnt clear.
