Provide a global configuration to set the maximum number to expose children to
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Like we have a config to allow only uppercase letters, children are taught numbers starting with small one and going higher progressively.

Currently some activities like dominos have a difficulty levels going too fast for children knowing only up to number 3 for example and then we propose them activities with numbers they are not supposed to know.

In a supervised environment, we would like to make sure activities limits themselves to an upper defined number that the teacher can change as the children progress.

To do this we can add a global configuration in the config dialog "max_known_number" which can take a small number or MAX_INT for unlimited.

Is the aim to limit the number of dominoes, the speed of falling dominoes or the number on the dominoes?

it's the number on the dominoes, not the speed

I think this task is kind of obsolete now with the multi-dataset plan; can we close it?

agree to close it

Closing as Resolved as multi-dataset should deal with this problem directly.
