Mbox inside math needs some parsing:

-remove math spaces
-elaborate math inside mbox, maybe splitting all the math environment.
-remove formatting commands inside mbox
-construct like \stackrel{\tiny\mbox{}}

To do this we can get the mbox from inside the math and parse it in the usual way.
