What about disabling mathml and render everything as svg until I get some clearer infos about this bug? Firefox seems quite unusable to me

Seems like there lots of users reporting that problem. See here.
It seems like a bug in the Ubuntu Latin Modern font (this explains why some user have the problem and others don't).
I will try to change the font family from Modern Latin to something else to see if it can solve the problem

I added the font without the bugfix. Let's see how it goes
