In the old Gtk+ version we had a Gimp plugin that creates boards.xml for the shape activity (http://gcompris.net/wiki/Adding_a_puzzle_activity). This tool let the user prepare the puzzle, name each piece and Gimp will create a file for each piece as we expect.

We must provide an updated version of this tool (or another one in Krita?) for our new QML shape format.
