Currently in Plasma Activities take center-stage for how desktops are handled on multiple monitors, meaning different backgrounds are used per monitor. This however presents a big gripe I, and many people, have with Plasma currently, being that wallpapers cannot be spanned across monitors.

This request is for adding an option in the Desktop Background settings area to have the background be spanned across all the monitors rather than just being on one desktop. Adding an option for spanning a wallpaper across monitors like pretty much every other Desktop Environment (and Operating System for that manner) is all that I'm asking for here.
