@echarruau Hi, I have checked the multiple dataset design of clockgame and can see two datasets one of difficulty 2 and other one of difficulty 4. Do you want me to create a dataset of different difficulty or modify the current one?
Thanks!

Hi,
I would like to have 5 different choices, each one corresponding to one of the configuration listed above.
Thanks,

I would like to work on this task.

Hi,
This task is part of sok2020. You can not claim it.
https://phabricator.kde.org/T12341
There are still lots of other activities where you can add multipledatasets.

@echarruau Hi,
Sure, thank you for telling. So can I start implementing multiple datasets in any one of the activities given here https://phabricator.kde.org/T10422 and then apply for this activity for sok ?
Thanks

Hi,
Yes, as long as they are not sok activity.
Regards,

@jjazeix I was thinking to create the level selection in the following way. Please let me know if it's ok and can continue with it.

For

  1. full hours:
Difficulty level: 2

Number of levels: 2

Number of sublevels for each levels: 5

Example : Set the watch to 9hr 0mins
  1. full and half hours
Difficulty level: 2

Number of levels: 3

Number of sublevels for each levels: 5

Level 1: Only full hours

Level 2: Only half hours

Level 3: Both half and full hours
  1. full half and quarters of hours
Using the exisiting available dataset of 1/Data.qml
  1. containing minutes

Difficulty level: 3

Number of levels: 3

Number of sublevels: 5
  1. containing minutes and seconds
Using the existing dataset of 2/Data.qml

@dekumar yes, go with it. Check what can also be put as option of the dataset (like for now, the display of the hands and if it can increase the difficulty on some levels).

@jjazeix Yeah, sure.
Thanks!

Hi Deepak,
We will need an supplementary option there not sure how to handle it.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Date_and_time_representation_by_country
Most countries use 24 hours clock even thought on the clock we only see 0 to 12 on the display.
But english speaking region are using AM PM, we will need to support both.
We could use an option button like we have in gletters to choose between 24 and 12 hours option, or offer for each dataset both format:

  • full hours (24 hours format)
  • full hours (12 hours format)

Something is not logic when I select multipledatasets. Let says I select

  • full
  • full and half
  • full half and quarter of an hour

I should have six levels, two from each, I have 6 levels:

  • 4 fulls
  • 1 full and half
  • 1 full half and quarter of an hour

Could you have a look to this?
Thanks

When you are asking full hour question in level time containing minuts you need to have the display options for minuts too.
You are targeting the dataset to pupils that must be able to handle these additional informations.
This is true for all levels.

Can you update the task description using the format we are using in the main mutitpledtataset tasks description?

@echarruau Okay so I need to update the third one for full half and quarters of hours for 6 different levels as described above. Am I right?
Thanks!

@echarruau So, I need to make the minute hands visible for all the levels. Am I right?
