@stikonas @trufanov KTorrent uses the python scripting for its script plugin. There does not seem to be much development in that regard, is it even worth porting?

Porting would be quite complicated, because of the kross forms part and the usage of external python libs.

In any way I don't think the removal of Kross is blocked by this since it is already a separate plugin and disabled by default.

I haven't used scripting plugin myself and I doubt that many people use it. So I think it's fine to remove it. And if somebody really needs it, patches are welcome.

And there is also the DBus API, which might be a better fir anyways.

At least in KRunner is works really really well.
