Upstream suggested us to use a template like explained here:
Saved book template
and write something like that:
Collection extension

Below a short piece of the conversation:

Create your own template that’ll act as the footer (or cover page)
and then append the template to the article contents (for the footer)
or prepend the article to the collection (for the cover).
See how "coll-savedbook_template” is added in saveCollection
in the link above.
As long as your image renders properly from wikitext on your wiki,
the bundler will take care of fetching the image (/info).
Btw, if this feature isn’t already supported, consider creating
patches and submitting them upstream. I’m sure others would
benefit.
