Improve app initialization (metadata, icon, HiDPI)

• explicitly set the organization domain and the desktop file name;
• enable the HiDPI support (noop on non-HiDPI systems)
• explicitly set the application icon (at least for non-Wayland systems, where the icon is taken from the desktop file which should follow the reverse DNS convention with the correct organization domain).
