I really like the zoom slider in practice, though. It's convenient and intuitive.

I like the initiative, this is really nice for canvas only mode of painting. I was initially a bit confused about the arrow showing the direction of the preset. Is this really needed and if yes can there be a better way. I mean I got confused about it being the direction for rotation.

the arrow indicating the direction was originally brought up because someone couldn't tell how the presets populated, or where they started on the list. I am open to suggestions if there are better ways to communicate this information. With only 3 presets, you can kind of figure it out. When all of the preset slots are full though it is a little less obvious how they are shown.

If other people think it is not helpful, we can always hide it. The arrow also kind of indicates that the circle can be used for doing rotations.

I think we will be getting more questions about the arrow than making people happy with it, I'm for not having it.

I am ok with hiding that arrow. I will just comment it out for now.

I've been using this for a couple of days, I see the benefit on the tablet use, these are my observations:

-The background of the palette seems a bit strong on the eye, been opaque now, we usually open the pop up for a second or two to grab a brush/color, thus the contrast creates a "blinking" effect on the screen, is a bit tiresome after a while.

-The amount of time we expend on the pop-up is relatively small, having small details on it, may give you more work than appreciation, thus removing the arrow on the border is a good call. Didn't knew it had it till now.

-The size of the preset icons goes smaller as we increase the number shown, but the "disc" remains the same size giving us "dead space" in between the presets and the edge. My guess is that the rotation control keeps it this way? may be the rotation control can be kept inside the presets (right after the color history band) and not out, allowing the outer edge of the pop-up to increase and decrease in size accordingly.

-As it is now, specially for us using a pc/shortcuts, the pop up is getting busy, those controls at the bottom are neat but may be as the hud, they could be shown/hidden with a little button on the left (since there are two on the right already.

-The color selector is a bit small, not sure if this is a personal issue though : ) but I just giving some thoughts / ideas.

Have opinion:

  1. Very small Color Selector & very big slots for brushes.
  1. Needs create a switch between Color Selector & Palette.
