Mock Description

I present to your attention a small redesign of the application.
The layouts are not completely ready, but the main idea is as follows:

  1. Animated on-board screens to which the user can allow access to phone functions (So far without animation)
  2. A small redesign of the activity of the remote control: an animated registration, which is called up when you press the button again and for the first time exit the screen.
  3. A small redesign of preaentation of remote activity.
  4. The activity of the player was redrawn: the playback source was placed down and selected using the "Advanced" button.
There are a very large number of changes, so older changes are hidden. Show Older Changes
nopomuk updated an image's (Presentation-Activity.png) description. (Show Details)

How is this screen option? Short description of the function and request for permission for access. My English is bad, so I can’t write a competent text.

Some small nitpicks: you don't have to add them if you don't think its valid.

  1. Rearrange the help screen with the sync notifications first, then the file transfer, the remote control. I would hazard a guess that thats what people want the most. Again not sure so feel free to use your discretion.
  2. Googles HIG guidlines state that you shouldn't really display a screen showing ui, rather you should overlay disrections over the UI. https://material.io/design/communication/onboarding.html#top-user-benefits-model. However I also don't know how many people actually follow this.

We should probably split this into two smaller proposals. One for the new welcome screen/onboarding concept, one for the new designs.

I think this is a great idea! It'll help new users understand just what's possible with KDE connect before they add a device.
