Seems reasonable enough. Please note that if upstream ships a major update which doesn't include this it may end up getting reverted (as we only maintain a minimal number of changes vs. upstream)

I've just tried to apply this patch and it doesn't apply at all to the current code we have in production.
Can you please rebase it against the 'kde-5.0' branch?

(This code looks to be completely different vs. Bugzilla 5.0 - where did it come from?)

From which repo ?

This patch is based on master branch of git@github.com:mozilla-bteam/bmo.git.

We use the repository websites/bugs-kde-org for Bugzilla. On the 'master' branch you'll find the latest release version of Bugzilla, with our customised version living in the 'kde-5.0' branch.

The GitHub repository you've found is for the customised version of Bugzilla that Mozilla has deployed at bugzilla.mozilla.org (they're working on bringing many of those improvements to a version of Bugzilla that is suitable for general purpose use, but until that happens, we won't be able to use them)
