@xyquadrat, some tweaks to make the text a bit more consistent:

Line 923

On October 14th, KDE celebrates its 22nd birthday. The project that started as a desktop environment for Unix systems, has become a community that incubates ideas and projects which go far beyond desktop technologies. Your support is very important for our community to remain active and strong. Please consider becoming a contributor of our projects and/or make a donation.

KDE Plasma 5.12 was released, the second Long Term Support (LTS) version of KDE Plasma 5. Featuring massive improvements in startup time and further progress in bringing Wayland support to KWin, it has been a very feature-packed release that has got great responses from the wider community.

Formerly named QupZilla, the Falkon browser became an official KDE project. Falkon aims to be a lightweight browser while still including all features a normal user would expect (bookmarks, history and even a built-in adblocker).

Include suggestions from Paul

One thing i'm curious about: why are you removing the Facebook/Twitter infrastructural points?

Surely those could be used in the future?

Content Wise: Please don't link directly to images on sites outside of the KDE Family (so falkon.org and *.kde.org are fine, but personal blogs are not)

The current buttons would share a small blurb relating to the 20th anniversary, which is obviously not up-to-date anymore. If somebody has a good idea what a user could share from there I'll gladly put them back in again.

I'll update my parts accordingly, but there are many links in the other parts that also link outside of the KDE Family. Should we remove a link entirely if there isn't a substitute or keep it?

Linking to outside sites is fine, it's the hotlinking to images that i'd rather avoid. People's personal blogs have been known to go down in the past when their post hit Planet due to the images from that post being embedded on Planet and thus generating quite a bit of load on their blog server.

I am very sorry if I still misunderstand something, but all images are loaded from the images folder, they only link to outside sources (which is fine if I understood you correctly).
