**Goal**
Derived from our Promo goals. We want to increase our community and outreach in more countries, including:
- Brand awareness about KDE.
- Increase and engage new contributors.
- Increase the number of end-users.
**Country-based Volunteers**What is the KDE Network?**
The KDE Network will be a group of KDE representatives in their respective cities/countries. They promote KDE and it’s work in their local community. Additionally, they are responsible for helping to grow the community, and to act as a liaison between their local community and KDE.
We can select volunteers to represent KDE in their own country. KDE will empower these people to bring more contributors and promote KDE in that particular country. They will be provided with instructions and support by the main KDE team (BOD). This will not only help us to increase the contributors but it will also help us to increase diversity. Currently, according to the Facebook Insights, our majority followers are from USA and India. We can do a pilot study with one city and see if it is successful then we can implement it in other countries. Initially, we would like to make a plan to target Delhi,Members of the KDE Network Group are Community Members who have agreed to help promote KDE. India as we have contributors like Piyush Aggarwal and Manav Sethi who are willing to support usThey use their knowledge of KDE and their public speaking skills or social networking skills or people skills to help promote KDE.
**Student Volunteers****What do they do?**
We can have student volunteers from all over the world. For example, students who are studying at a particular University can be our volunteer at their university. They can promote KDE on their campus and bring new students on board. These students can be part of the KDE community in the long run. Each university can have more than one volunteer. We can provide certificates to them so that they can use it for future job prospects. Also• Participate at local events on behalf of KDE.
o Request marketing material, we can invite them to GSOC.swag, This will create a maximum outreach programme.
**Steps**budget for events.
