Based on suggestions. Please see these 3 options, as I am not a designer these are just for ideas. If there are more changes/suggestions, please share.

Forwarding my answer from some private discussion (with some small edits):
I will revise the task based on everyone’s suggestions
In T13233#232123, @ognarb wrote:Also, what is the plan for the "Become a Mentor" button? Do you mean a website where people can register themself as a mentor? If yes, note that this will require do be a completely new website since kde.org will soon only support static promotional content.
I would go even simpler. Big button: "Welcome to KDE Chat" and link it to the matrix webchat. This element should dominate over everything else and be what most people click.
I think it might be worth stepping back and re-defining the problems we're aiming to solve here. I see:
@ognarb I have tried creating an image to express this idea visually.
So if I understand correctly the plan is to create a new page kde.org/get-involved with 4 buttons (Join our mailing list, steps, become a mentor, micro-volunteering). This page will link to the community.k.o/Get_Involved but also other things. I'm not sure how I feel about it and adding an additional page to kde.org with an intermediate steep doesn't feel right. We want to remove steeps and not add more.

@ognarb can we create a static webpage for "Get Involved"? We do not need to change the wiki page.
The current page is hosted in a wiki as such form and any other dynamic elements are not supported :/

The part that remains is transferring information from here to the Community wiki: https://techbase.kde.org/Development/Guidelines/CIG
Since archiving and removing old resources from wiki pages seemed to cause some displeasure, I have tried a different approach.

What should I do now? Should I move the page back to KDELibs Coding Style, so I can then try the import?

Okay so, #mediawiki told me of something that might fix the import. But now this page rename happened.

The KDELibs Coding Style page was changed some time ago to use the same style as the Frameworks Coding Style page. I assumed this was intentional, so it seemed logical to me that it should be renamed to Frameworks Coding Style. Whoops. Not sure how to resolve this either. It looks like it was changed in early 2016: https://community.kde.org/index.php?title=Policies/Frameworks_Coding_Style&diff=70315&oldid=47203
It was not moved, @ndavis seems to have independently without knowing this task renamed pages on community.kde.org instead. Good intentions, but not best execution IMHO. No idea how to resolve.
The page seems to has been moved now. Thanks!

I reverted the button theme to the original Aether button theme and increased the margin between the button. :)
Is there an ETA?
Page import (into community at least) seems to be broken. Asking for help on upstream MediaWiki...

I think instead of "Use Plasma to surf the web; keep in touch with colleagues, friends and family; manage your files, enjoy music and videos; and get creative and productive at work. Do it all in a beautiful environment that adapts to your needs, and with the safety, privacy-protection and peace of mind that the best Free Open Source Software has to offer." Need to make like in Zorin OS site "Your computer. + switching text"

No because the code is not open source.
Could you provide the code for this functionality (without any dependencies to JQuery or another big js framework)?
Can you copy the inspect code from here?

The whole situation is somewhat awkward. But until and unless it is somehow resolved, we should not explicitly recommend KDE Neon as "The KDE Distro". I agree with @paulb that we should have some objective criteria (e.g. ships Plasma by default; ships reasonably recent versions, etc.) and use those to recommend a few distros. If Neon winds up meeting the criteria, that's fine. But it needs to be rule-based rather than just us promoting Neon because it's ours. My sense is that a final list based on the above will probably wind up consisting of Neon, openSUSE, Kubuntu, and Manjaro (with a link to the full distro list), but I might be missing a few.

Imagine that you are newbie and you want to choose distro with Plasma:
- 10110 OS
- 01100 OS
- 00100 OS How to understand what is better for you?
@KonqiDragon it's not that simple. While I agree with you from a usability perspective, there are political considerations at play. For example: Canonical and SUSE are KDE patrons. Both of them produce or support distros that offer KDE Plasma as an option. They understandably get a bit upset when we promote our own offering over theirs. Sensitivity to our patrons is also why KDE Neon takes great pains to label itself as "not a distro" (even though it obviously is one and is used as such; the Slimbook folks even ship hardware with it).
In T11243#193069, @ognarb wrote:@niccolove I agree that this page isn't the best, but promoting KDE Neon too much will make a lot of people angry. Maybe we could only promote distro with KDE edition (openSUSE, Kubuntu, Manjaro, and a lot more). A page with "Buy a computer with Plasma" with TUXEDO, Slimbook, Pinebook, ... could be interesting too, but we should determine first if e.V. agree linking to commercial product.

I added a video for the KDE Connect "send files" feature.

I don't like the current behaviour of the "Get plasma here." button; especially for people without too much knowledge about the linux world, being redirected to a list with 40 different distributions and almost no way to distinguish between them is not ideal. I think the webpage should try to redirect the user to KDE Neon, unless the user specifically wants for a list of compatible distributions. Furthermore, I would also add the option to see a page with a list of computers with plasma by default ("Buy a computer with plasma").
Thank you @vinzenzv ;)
I started writing/copying texts for the page:

KRunner doesn't have an icon :(
It can be fixed, we have VDG's dragons, need to find one of them and ask him to draw an KRunner icon.
Or use some icon which we already have.

While doing work for the branding assessment task T5844, I compiled a list of wiki pages that need to be archived or updated with new brand messaging and visuals.
