Regardless, the field of icon theming is an interesting one, as there's some dissatisfaction in the VDG with the existing way we handle icons both in KDE software and in general, governed by the relevant XDG spec (https://specifications.freedesktop.org/icon-naming-spec/icon-naming-spec-latest.html#names). As such a lot of changes would need to happen there, not in KDE. Is there something specific in KDE that you'd like to see happen above and beyond the spec? Or are you thinking we could exert our influence to get the spec changed?
